I think corporate media can use your talking points. They needed to carry the "liz cheney lie" (that I mentioned in a comment in your last post), the "fine people on both sides" lie and so on.
Trump once said in January 23 2016 that he could shoot someone in 5th avenue and his votes would not change. (Yup, can find a video of him saying that, but we can see the context of his statement) Pretty hard to change how people feel about him now.
Jeff, do you understand that Trump lies a lot and can’t be trusted? Yes or no?
and
Do you understand that DOGE and Musk’s actions are illegal and unconstitutional? Yes or no? If not, then let’s stop discussing politics and move on to other things.
Can you show me a lie by trump as an example? (It could be one of those well known lies about trump). Some lies about Trump are really elaborate, so there might be a bit more to look into. Also, do you think the "liz cheney lie" is a lie by corporate media? (There were a lot of other things that corporate media did that made me lose confidence with them)
Biden's (or his puppet masters') move to censor speech on covid is unconstitutional, and was/ is in the courts. People have cited that it violates the first amendment. Which part of the constitution is cited to have been violated by DOGE and musk? Or how is it illegal? I am largely in approval of DOGE and musk, and have given up on corporate media, so i haven't seen arguments against it yet.
Vivian ramaswamy was saying that he studied the constitution, and said that there is a constitutional way to fire 75% of the federal workers. It seems to me that only staff related to DEI are fired, while DOGE is investigating more.
Another option is to sit down and read “The Art of the Deal” and fact check it. It contains many lies including where he lies about his own ethnic background claiming to be Swedish instead of German descent and how he met his wife where he says she was on the Czech ski team as a back up skier to the Czech Olympic team but she was not on the team, they did not have teams for the events described, and it appears he met her in NYC when she was working illegally without a visa as a model. BTW, the real author of that ghost-written book has disavowed the book, apologized, and gives all his profits from it to pro-immigration charities. But the important thing is not to focus on individual lies, but the fact that there are just so many of them and they are never ending.
Like I said the important question is do you realize that Trump lies and this means he can’t be trusted?
You should be able to take almost any lengthy Trump talk such as a debate, a speech, or his Univision talk and fact check it and count lies. There are several YouTube videos that show him lying.
Or you can read my book where I spend a great deal of time discussing Trump’s lies and the patterns and ways in which he lies.
I go over the set of known lies that corporate media have told. I don't have to go very far to see that WaPo took the liz cheney lie to a different level.
If you really want the original source with the full context, you can search tucker carlson's YouTube channel for his interview with Donald Trump. It is in one of the streams instead of a video. (I hate to promote YouTube, because it is known to censor truths. I think it is worse than telling lies. But since other sources might get rejected for being "right wing", I suggested YouTube. )
WaPo cannot interpret a simple sentence properly. How am I to trust them keeping the score on how often politicians lie?
I have realised that traditional media tells some very bad lies and cannot be trusted. It might come as a shock to you. But the earlier one realises this, the better.
There are 2 big lies politicians lie about in recent times. One is that Iraq has WMDs. The other is that the covid vaccines are safe and effective. Politicians telling these lies do not suffer consequences of their lies. Their jobs depend on pretending that these lies are not lies.
Jeffrey, let me just remind you, my original question was:
“Someone tell me if I understand the facts correctly. No I am not asking for opinions. Just a fact check here.
Approximately three weeks ago, the President of the United States just took his single biggest campaign donor and said “I am giving you full access to all the US Federal Govi
Now, Jeffrey, 90%+ of what you have written does ot answer that question and the little bit you wrote on DOGE and Musk was completely factually wrong. And provably wrong. The little bit you wrote about Donald Trump was also factually wrong. And the rest of it including most of this, has nothing to do with the question asked. And under those circumstances, one has to ask where is this conversation going? Why continue?
I’m sorry. I don’t think there is any point in continuing this exchange unless we an agree on certain fundamental facts. It’s like arguing that 3 + 3 = 7 or the value of pi is pretty much “3” and there is no need to be more specific. But I would love to talk to you about other subjects. I hope you are well these days.
Jeffrey, do you agree that Donald Trump lies a lot and therefore cannot be trusted? If not, let’s take this private and talk about something else, okay?
And please consider purchasing my book on Trump. We are living in a very strange period of history, and it is important to understand it.

The Washington Post documented 30,573 lies or misleading statements by Trump.
While some could be argued, most are pretty clear. There are many sources for this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_or_misleading_statements_by_Donald_Trump

Everybody likes to talk about Donald Trump!
I don't. I do it out of an obligation. Did you see I wrote a book on him? I think you would learn a lot from it.
